Forming partnerships is always important as you bid to expand your business. Gambling company Paddy Power have joined up with Checkd Dev who are sports betting technology specialists.
This new partnership will see the introduction of a new and unique product. That’s because one package will see all same-game multiples be possible.
That’s because Checkd Dev have recently developed and successfully launched a new betting solution. Thanks to this new partnership, their Mix ‘N Match will be available to those who gamble with Paddy Power.
Paddy Power are part of the successful Flutter Entertainment group (more of which later in this article). Being able to access this new advanced solution is bound to prove popular.
What is Mix ‘N Match
The Mix ‘N Match has been designed specifically for those online UK gamblers that use Paddy Power. Placing combination bets sees players betting on a number of events, all in one wager. Mix ‘N Match will allow them to create such bets in both an easier and quicker way.
Another bonus is that a range of filters allows players to easily choose which of their multi-leg bets works best.
Bet Shuffle
There is also advanced Bet Shuffle functionality available. This helps players by allowing the random generation of new betting opportunities. It’s possible to access all of the data from leading competitions and leagues around the globe.
Markets that can be used when using Mix ‘N Match include 1×2, Both Teams to Score (BTTS), goalscorers and the number of fouls, cards awarded and shots on target.
Anyone who uses statistics to aid them with their bets will be familiar with Opta. This new partnership will see Paddy Power having access to their expert data.
This is just one of several products created by Checkd Dev that has the aim of making it easier to bet for both gamblers and the companies they place wagers with.
Smart Acca iFrame
The Smart Acca iFrame has proved popular with gamblers. That was created for use at several top gambling sites including Sky Bet and William Hill.
Adam Patton is the Managing Director of Checkd Dev and says the company are “thrilled” to be working with Paddy Power. He added: “The collaborative approach taken with their internal team was a pleasure to witness too, both teams worked seamlessly together.”
Further evolution of the product is planned in the future. We look forward to evolving the product even further as we begin to build a clearer picture of user behaviors.”
The Head of Product at Paddy Power is Rob Elliffe who said that Checkd Dev had been “great to work with throughout” while negotiating this partnership. It was a complex product that was being developed but work was delivered on time.
He described Mix ‘N Match as a “truly innovative product” and one that’s already become popular with members of the Paddy Power site.
Flutter Entertainment’s Financial Success and Expansion: A Year in Review
As we previously mentioned, Paddy Power is part of Flutter Entertainment. They’ve recently published their financial results for the fiscal year that ended 31 December 2023. An increased revenue figure of $11.79bn was revealed and that’s 24.6% higher than in the previous year.
In addition to the increased revenue, the number of average monthly players also saw a considerable rise. The total went up 20.3% to 12.3 million. Another impressive result was the further adjusted EBITDA that saw a 45.4% rise year-on-year to $1.87bn.
Flutter Entertainment has been expanding in the US gambling market. That has seen excellent results in the past year with a 40.7% revenue increase thanks to the results achieved by FanDuel. 2023 saw that gambling company achieve further adjusted EBITDA of $167 million, their first positive result.
2024 has already gone well for Flutter Entertainment. The first 11 weeks of the new year saw revenue up by 23.4%. America again played a key role with revenue up 55.6% due to a record result for bets on the Super Bowl.
The hope is that the company will continue to produce good financial results. It may not be so easy in the UK due to increased regulation as mentioned in last year’s White Paper on gambling reform. With expansion overseas, the future still looks bright for Flutter.
Late January saw Flutter complete a secondary listing on the New York Stock Exchange. There are also plans for a primary listing once shareholder approval has been received. Acquisitions are important for any expansion plans. This year has seen Flutter acquire the Serbian gambling company MaxBet.
